black list

246) Black List

Hi Henry,
When I just finished my trainee program, and got my license, I modified a report done by another trainee (with the same supervisor) per the supervisor's request. The supervisor gave me the original report for reference and asked me for my signature. I did everything as if I were doing a new report, except re-using some of the subject's photos from the original. As per normal I also used the same template (from the supervisor) as the other trainee to clone my reports.

The supervisor gave my report to the client who submitted it to the lender, who already had the 'original' report done by the other trainee. The lender put my name on their black list where it has been since then (over three years now).

I have appealed the lender decision by submitting my explanation, but they came to the same conclusion as before.

In your opinion, is there any thing that I can do to improve my situation with this lender? Is there any time limit for them to re-consider my case?
It looks like their "discipline" imposed on me will last forerver.
Thank you,
A.T.

Dear A.T.
My only suggestion is that you ask for a meeting with whomever in the lender's organization might have the power to help you out. I don't think there is any way to force them to use you. However, in my experience, finding someone you can talk to face to face may help.
